K&Co Smash Book & Accessories
Since we will be heading into the New Year, the theme for this blog hop is NEW. I have created a fun New Year's greeting card using Cosmo Cricket's Social Club line. This collection is perfectly suited for celebrating the New Year.
Here is my project:
|Finished card size is 5 1/4"x5 1/4"|
It sure looks like this couple is enjoying the New Year's festivities! I absolutely fell in love with the olive print paper and used it as a backdrop for the the card.
I stamped Happy New Year in black ink on a scrapbook element card and adhered with foam for added dimension.
Sticking with the olive theme, I glued and glittered a red olive with some glitter from my kids' art stash.
Lastly, I added a little extra bling by attaching three gold-tone brads to the upper left hand corner of the card.
Paper, element cards, olive: Cosmo Cricket Social Club
Brads: American Crafts
Stamp and ink: Studio g
Glitter: something I found in my kids' craft box. :)
Thank you for stopping by! My secret word is: FAVORITE.
Your next stop is: Janet: http://ladyluvbug.
Here's the entire line-up, if you get lost along the way:
