This week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge (CFC36) was to create a card using only black and white. I thought a chevron patterned card would showcase these two "colors" nicely. (NERD ALERT! In the visible light spectrum, white light is the result of the combination of all colors of light. Conversely, black is the absence of color.)
|Finished card size is 6"x 4 1/2"|
I created the chevrons using this video tutorial. It is pretty straight forward and easy, although it does take some time. I cut each individual paper strip 1/2" wide and adhered them to a 6"x6" piece of black paper. I then cut the completed patterns into 1" strips and arranged them on my card. I finished the card by adding a thank you sticker from Doodlebug Designs. I used this same technique to create this chevron card also.
As sung by MJ, "It don't matter if you're black or white."
