Crafting with Trash

Okay, not the gross kind of trash, but the remnants of packaging, etc.  Not only is upcycling hip, it is smart, too!  As I mentioned in an earlier post, packaging materials have made their way into my craft room as supplies and I couldn't resist the graph paper inserts from my latest Jillibean Soup stamps.   Another challenge over at Moxie Fab World is to create a craft with something you would normally throw away.  I have had this idea for an anniversary/love card forever and finally decided to put it together:

I also used the sketch from DCWV's April Stack-a-holic Sketch Challenge for this card.

Stamps (Jillibean Soup, Hero Arts)
VersaMark watermark ink
Zing! embossing powder
Sharpie fine tip pen
Paper and cardstock from DCWV
Twine from The Twinery

  1. This card is lovely! I would love for you to share it at our link party!

  2. Taran says he wants to see the data set used to make this curve.

  3. Hey Amanda! Thanks for linking this up to the Don't Throw It Away Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)

  4. Really cool! I never would have thought to use part of their packaging, but this rocks.

  5. Oh that is too cool! I am amazed at how clever you were to make a graph out of that packaging. The card made me laugh out loud, too. :)

Your comments make my day! Thanks so much!
