Washi Tape Mason Jar Kid Craft

My 7 y.o. daughter loves to get into my craft supplies.  Without a doubt, she always goes for the washi tape first.  I let her play around with some tape one day and she ended up wrapping it around a mason jar where she was going to store her special keepsakes.  I thought this was a fabulous idea, so I had her put together some more washi tape mason jar kid crafts to showcase on the Doodlebug Design blog

Washi Tape Mason Jar Kid Craft

I gave my daughter my stack of Doodlebug washi tape and told her to go nuts!  The only suggestion I gave to her was to make sure the tapes coordinated on each jar.  I think she did a pretty good job!

With a little help from mom, we also made some cute drinking straws by adding washi tape flags.  These are easy to label and would be a fun addition at a party.

This jar was her favorite.  My daughter could be the star in her own Pinkalicious story.  I love how she meticulously cut each strip of washi tape instead of tearing them.  Be still my crafty heart!

Help me make my daughter's day by leaving her a sweet comment.  Thanks so much!
