Father's Day Cards and Gifts for GrandpaI have gotten into the habit of saving all sorts of food containers. Sometimes the top rack of my dishwasher is filled with empty cans and jars instead of dishes. When we ran out of parmesan cheese, I knew this container would come in handy for an easy, upcycled gift. I wrapped the container with patterned paper from Pebbles Lakeside collection and used some darling Father's Day stamps from Avocado Arts to stamp the sentiment. Yum!
Included in the Just Fore You stamp set from Avocado Arts was this vintage inspired you are my hero sentiment. Grandfathers and fathers alike are heros in many ways. I distressed a piece of patterned paper and stitched it to a card base. I stamped the sentiment on kraft cardstock, distressed the edges, and adhered it to the card. I added a piece of jute string and added a bent brad to make it look like an old nail.
The measuring tape stamp from the same stamp set pairs perfectly with any ruler print. Grandpa, dad, father-in-law, brother, husband and godfather stamps are included in the stamp set making it easy to customize any sentiment. I added a little comma with a marker after stamping the sentiment. I made this card by simply by stitching patterned paper to a card base and stamping the sentiment. This is a super easy way to make cards in bulk for multiple Father's Day recipients.
Lest dad be left out, you can easily swap out the sentiment on the grandpa card to make a card for dad. This sweet ruler paper is from Doodlebug's Take Note collection. Don't forget to add the comma with a marker!
